Role Overview

  • Responsible for designing the overall technical architecture of a B2B operational admin service.
  • Translates business requirements into scalable system structures, data flows, and integration designs.
  • Acts as the technical decision-making bridge between development teams and operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the end-to-end system architecture and technical direction.
  • Design integrations with external systems (API-based, web-based, file-based).
  • Architect data pipelines for collection, normalization, validation, and storage.
  • Design for security, authentication, scalability, and operational reliability.
  • Produce technical documentation including API contracts, data models, and sequence diagrams.
  • Analyze requirement changes and propose technical alternatives with impact assessments.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience designing web service architectures.
  • Strong background in REST API design and external system integrations.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and transactions.
  • Experience with batch processing, schedulers, and asynchronous systems.
  • Strong communication skills with engineers, product, and operations teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B SaaS or Admin platforms.
  • Knowledge of retail, payment, POS, or settlement systems.
  • Experience with Node.js / Next.js–based projects.
  • Cloud architecture experience (e.g., AWS, Supabase).
  • Hands-on experience resolving operational issues such as data inconsistencies or system failures.
