Last week, DASOMX officially opened its corporate research laboratory, SOM LAB, located within Handong University’s Genesis Lab. Faculty members, partners, student researchers, and our team gathered to celebrate this meaningful milestone. The Vision and Direction of SOM LAB
SOM LAB is not simply a research facility—it is envisioned as a space where human creativity and AI intelligence expand together. It stands at the heart of DASOMX’s long-held vision, “Bridging Beyond Boundaries with AI,” transforming this philosophy into tangible research and product development.
We have established the following core identities and research pillars for SOM LAB:
1. Collaborative Creation of Contents (CCC)
SOM LAB aims to cultivate an environment where human insight and AI-driven computation collaborate to generate new knowledge and content. It is a space to explore and realize innovative modes of education, learning, and creative work.
2. Agentic Workflow as a Next-Generation R&D Paradigm
Our commitment to the Agentic Workflow—where multiple AI agents coordinate to solve complex problems—represents more than a technical approach. It reflects a structural innovation in how AI systems will be built and applied. SOM LAB will serve as the central hub advancing this research frontier.
3. Advancing LEIA, OKCHAT, and Multimodal Agent Technologies
SOM LAB will deepen and elevate the technologies at the core of DASOMX:
- LEIA: Automated transformation of PDFs into interactive courses and multimodal AI tutoring
- OKCHAT: Agent-based conversational platforms tailored for organizations and institutions
- Multimodal Agent Technologies: Building AI that functions reliably across educational and enterprise environments
Here, these capabilities will evolve with stronger scientific foundations and practical integration.
